Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

VistaMount LLC ("VistaMount," "we," "us," or "our") operates vistamountaz.com, portal.vistamountaz.com, and our booking and customer tools (together, the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the Site or booking a service with us, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you request a quote, book a job, create a portal account, sign a service agreement, or contact us:

Optional website feedback

If you choose to send website feedback, we store the reason you select, your optional message, the page path, the booking stage reached, time on the page, and whether you used a mobile or desktop layout. No name or email is required. Please do not include private or payment details. Feedback is stored privately for VistaMount to identify website problems and improve booking; it is not posted publicly or sent to advertising platforms. Our feedback service uses a daily salted hash of the request IP address to limit spam, without storing the raw IP address in feedback records. We use a timestamp in your browser's local storage to avoid showing the automatic feedback prompt again for seven days. You can still open it using “Share website feedback” in the footer.

2. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may collect:

We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement for these purposes, so we can tell which ads actually produce bookings. We also use the Meta Pixel, which lets us measure results from Facebook and Instagram advertising and show ads to people who have already visited the Site. This is described further in Sections 7 and 10.

Where you enter contact details on the Site, an advertising platform may capture them to match your activity to an existing account it holds. Meta does this for email addresses and telephone numbers. The values are hashed in your browser before they are sent, meaning Meta receives an irreversible fingerprint rather than the number itself, and uses it only to recognize an account it already has. We do not sell, rent, or supply your telephone number to anyone so that they may contact or market to you, and we never share your SMS or voice consent status with an advertising platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We collect this information because it is necessary to provide the service you requested. Providing a phone number for promotional messages is always optional and is never a condition of booking a job or receiving a quote.

AI booking assistant

Our booking modal may offer an optional voice and text assistant powered by Google Gemini. If you choose to use it, the audio or text you submit and the conversation context you provide are sent to Google to generate responses and help organize your installation details. VistaMount uses the assistant to collect and summarize information for a quote and appointment request; it does not replace the standard booking form. You may use the standard booking form instead at any time. Do not share sensitive information that is not needed to arrange the installation. Google may process data under its applicable Gemini API terms and privacy practices. We do not use the assistant to make a final booking without your confirmation.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Service providers working on our behalf

These vendors may use your information only to perform services for us: payment processing; messaging and telephony; website hosting, content delivery, and security; database and customer portal hosting; calendar and scheduling; email delivery; internal job-alert notifications; and analytics, advertising measurement, and advertising audience creation. Advertising platforms receiving hashed customer contact details for audience matching are described in Section 5.

Installers and subcontractors

To complete your installation we may share your name, service address, contact number, and job details with a helper or installer, or — for any line-voltage electrical work — with a licensed electrical contractor. They receive only what is needed to perform the work.

Lead platforms

If you reached us through Thumbtack, Angi, Yelp, or Google, that platform passed your inquiry to us. Information you gave directly to them is governed by their own privacy policy.

Legal and safety

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order; to establish or defend legal claims; to investigate fraud; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.

Business transfer

If VistaMount is sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

5. Text Messaging and Voice Consent Data

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted.

All of the categories described in Section 4 exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services, who process messages solely on our behalf.

Your mobile phone number and your SMS or voice consent status are never sold, rented, leased, or traded, and are never supplied to lead generators, data brokers, or affiliates.

Limited exceptions apply for advertising measurement. None of them involve anyone messaging, calling, or texting you, and none of them disclose your consent status.

On the Site. When you enter a telephone number, Meta's advertising pixel may capture it, hash it irreversibly in your browser, and use the result to tell whether you already have a Meta account, so that advertising we run can be measured and shown to the right people.

From our customer records. We may upload contact details of past customers — name, email address, telephone number, and postal code — to advertising platforms including Google and Meta, so we can measure which advertising produced real jobs, avoid advertising to people who have already hired us, and reach people with similar characteristics. These values are hashed before they leave our systems. The platform receives an irreversible fingerprint, never your details in readable form, and uses it only to recognize an account it already holds. It cannot contact you on our behalf, and receives no record of what work we did for you.

To prevent either of these, use the opt-out controls in Section 7, or email us and we will remove your records from any advertising audience and exclude you from future uploads.

See our Messaging & Calling Terms for full program details, message frequency, and opt-out instructions.

6. Recorded and Monitored Calls

Calls to or from VistaMount may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance, dispatch accuracy, and dispute resolution. Where recording is in use you will be notified at the start of the call, and you may ask that recording be stopped or end the call.

7. Cookies and Tracking

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies will break booking and portal login. You can opt out of Google's advertising personalization at adssettings.google.com and install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can control how Meta uses your activity for advertising in your Meta Ad Preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences/ad_settings. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.

8. Data Retention

Record typeRetention period
Job records, invoices, signed service agreements7 years (tax, warranty, and liability)
SMS and voice consent and revocation recordsAt least 4 years, as required by federal rules
Portal accounts and chat historyLife of the account, plus 90 days after a deletion request

We delete or de-identify information once it is no longer needed for the purposes above.

9. Security

We use HTTPS across the Site, restrict database access to authorized accounts, use single sign-on for the customer portal, and limit internal access to job information on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Wherever you live, you may:

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have additional rights, including the right to know the categories of information collected, to delete, to correct, to data portability, and to opt out of sale, of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and of profiling. VistaMount does not sell personal information. We do allow advertising platforms to set identifiers that let us show ads to people who have previously visited the Site, which several state privacy laws treat as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time using the controls in Section 7 or by contacting us. Your SMS and voice consent status is never included in this. Telephone numbers are included only as the hashed match value described in Sections 2 and 5, never in readable form and never for anyone else to contact you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

To exercise a right, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request." We may verify your identity by confirming details of a booking or the phone number on file. An authorized agent may submit a request with written proof of authorization.

11. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party sites, including review platforms and product pages. We are not responsible for their privacy practices — review their policies before providing information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. The "Last updated" date above will change, and material changes will be posted prominently on the Site. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
